Ragtime pianist and
composer. His first rolls were released in September 1913 and his
last around 1918. He was also a prolific composer, some of his
more well-known titles including Hot Chocolate Rag (1908),
Elephant Rag (1913), and Lobster Glide (1909).
There has been
some speculation he also worked for Imperial in Chicago under the
name 'Burton Franklin', but the styles are not similar.
